  3. Shopping For Hockey Apparel Online

    August 31, 2010, 9:46 am
Wouldn't it be cool to not only watch, eat, breathe, live and sleep hockey but also to wear it all the time, not only during games but everyday of your hockey-loving life? If you are such a hockey fan, wouldn't it be the neatest thing in the world to wear stuff with hockey on them or better, your favorite team's logos on them, from inside...(read more)
  4. What to do with an ugly reception hall?

    August 30, 2010, 11:54 pm
I had planned on having the wedding in the party room at the condo we're in, as it is very chic. But the guest list got out of control (my mom and his sister) and now we don't have enough room for everyone by a long shot. My FSIL came up with an idea to rent the gymnasium at a local community centre, which would be more convenient in a number of ways: tables and chairs are included, as is a sound system which just plugs into an ipod (saving us the extra cost of either a dj or renting equipment). There is a full kitchen there also. A plus is that just outside is a basketball court and a playground, where the kids can go play if they like. Most importantly, it can fit far more people than we plan to invite, and it's not much more expensive than the party room. Also, it's available, and considering my wedding date is only 4.5 months away, that's a real plus. The problem is that it's ugly. The walls are green and peach (wth?) and I'm not really certain what we could do that would be inexpensive and effective for making it look nicer. Any thoughts? wa aliekum as salaam ukhti The walls are high and the room is BIG so I don't think it would be easy to do. As for it being tacky, I agree, but there aren't any proper halls available, and the nice room I have is too small by at least 30 people, so I have to work with this one.

Please don't say ebay. I'm always looking on ebay. I'm wondering if any players out there have found some good racquetball sites on the web that sell racquets at a good price. Thanks!

Same here...that's why I love that 24 Hour Fitness has a variety of ways to meet your workout. They have weights, group exercise classes (I want to sign up for turbo kick boxing and amped abs)basketball, cardio equipment, pool, steam room, tanning– the list goes on. Would amenities like this keep you from getting bored of your same weight and cardio routine?

  10. Could Coach Cal Add Another Cat This Year?

    August 20, 2010, 5:11 pm
Could John Calipari still add another player to the number one recruiting class for the upcoming basketball season? According to Evan Daniels at Scout.com, Deandre Daniels may opt to return to the 2010 class.  He is currently listed as a 2011 recruit. Daniels high school coach tells Scout.com the Deandre is qualified and cleared to play this year and that he wants to play this year. Daniels ...
